Requirements:
Education in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields
3+ years of professional experience in implementation and enhancement of Data Warehouse solutions
Good understanding of relational databases, experience with OLTP/OLAP databases, mainly Oracle database.
Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL programming, UNIX scripting, Java is plus
ETL development experience working extensively in setting up extract load transform/extract transform load (ELT/ETL) processes, batch and reconciliation processes
Strong data warehousing/modeling, end to end experience of implementing data warehouses from requirements to design to implementation
Knowledge of Kimball and Inmon methodologies
Capable of following and composing process and procedure documentation
Team player, with strong analytical, problem-solving, collaborative skills
Eager to discover and learn new skills in challenging environments
Excellent verbal and written communication skills of English
Responsibilities:
Design, development and implementation of data marts and ETL processes, writing batch scripts
Participating Operational Data Store/Enterprise Data Warehouse, BI reporting, data mining and CRM related projects;
Performance tuning: Tuning Oracle SQL queries and finding the most appropriate solution;
Unit and Functional Testing: Testing the Data Marts before user acceptance test for verification and validation;
Maintenance and Support: Supporting on ODS and EDW systems for unexpected defects and bugs and provide suitable solutions for them.
