Money transfer from Romania to Romania - even when you are not abroad, but far from your family nonetheless, you can still do something nice for those back home. With Western Union it is easy to transfer lei, euros or American dollars everywhere in Romania. There are over 4500 agent locations all over the country, where you can send money, and they can pick up the transferred amounts.
Steps to take to:
Send money:
- Come to the nearest Credit Europe Bank location. All you have to do is bring a valid ID, mention the country of destination, the amount you wish to send and the recipient's full name.
- After having consigned the amount you wish to transfer and the fee (Western Union may earn money based on the exchange rate difference), the Western Union operator will type the details of your transaction in the computer and will print the "send money" receipt.
- Please check all the details printed on the receipt to make sure that they are correct and sign the receipt.
- The receipt will include the money transfer control number (MTCN: a ten-digit number) and the paid amount.
- The money will be available for pick up after you have received the receipt containing the MTCN. Generally, the amounts can be paid in a few minutes, both when sending and when receiving money. This interval meets the terms and conditions of the service, including the business hours of the agents and the time zone differences. In certain countries, to pick up the money, the recipient must communicate to the operator the money transfer control number (MTCN).
Receive money:
- Come to the nearest Credit Europe Bank location. All you have to do is bring a valid ID. Please tell the operator the country where the money was sent from, the sender's full name, the exact amount you are expecting, as well as the money transfer control number (MTCN).
- To make the payment, the Western Union operator will check your ID and the information you have provided.
- Please check all the details printed on the "receive money" receipt to make sure they are correct. The operator will hand over the money and the receipt to you.

Official regulation for "Yes! I can make a money transfer during my coffee break" promotion
1. Promotion mechanism
1.1. The organizer of "Yes! I can make a money transfer during my coffee break / "Da! Pot sa transfer bani in pauza de cafea" (hereinafter referred to as the "Promotion") is CREDIT EUROPE BANK (Romania) S.A. (hereinafter referred to as "Organizer") having its premises in Bucharest, 26Z Timisoara Blv., Anchor Plaza Building, 6th district, registered with The Trade Registry under No. J40 / 8977 / 18.05.2005, Unique Code: 17598171, registered in the Banking Registry under No. RB-PJR-40-018/18.02.1999, paid in capital RON 300,000,000.60 registered under Law no.677/2001 in the evidence register of the processing of personal data under no. 959 (hereinafter referred to as "Organizer"),
1.2. The Promotion will be organized during 1st of March - 31st of December 2011 including, in all Credit Europe Bank (Romania) S.A. branches, offering money transfer service through Western Union, in compliance with the present Official regulation. After the Promotion is finalized, any other transactions in compliance with the conditions mentioned in the present Official Regulation do not offer the right to participate in the Promotion.
1.3. The Promotion is available in all the Credit Europe Bank branches where the Western Union money transfer services are available.
1.4. Are qualified for this Promotion all the customers that perform a money transfer (money sending or receiving) during promotion period.
1.5. According to the present regulation the Organizer will offer an instant price for free to all customers that qualify for this promotion, considering the available quantities in the branches during the transaction.
2. Prizes
2.1. During Promotion the prizes will be granted instantly, consisting in a coup of coffee or tea (depending on the customer's preferences) to all the customers that perform a money transfer during promotion period.
2.2. The prizes are offered instantly, considering the available quantities in the branches during the promotion.
2.3. The equivalent in money of the prizes is not granted.
2.4. The prizes are not transmissible.
2.5. The approximate total value of the Promotion prizes is 5.285 EUR(VAT included)
3. Participants
3.1. The Promotion is opened for any individual with domicile in Romania, over 18 years old, with the exception of employees from Western Union® Transfer de Bani, Credit Europe Bank (Romania) S.A., or their spouses and first rank relatives.
4. Granting instant prizes
4.1. 75.500 instant prizes will be granted within the available limits.
4.2. In order to receive the instant prize, the participant must conclude a Western Union transaction in any of Credit Europe Bank (Romania) S.A. branch.
4.3. The prizes will be offered instantly, considering the available quantities in the branches during the transaction.
4.4. The equivalent in money of the prizes is not granted; in case the winner refuses to come into the possession of the prize, within the conditions from the present regulation, he/she will lose the right to receive the prize.
5. Fees and Charges
5.1. Promotion Organizer is responsible for the payment of fees, charges and any other financial reliability related to the prizes granted as the prizes do not bear fiscal fees and any other fiscal obligations for the winners.
5.2. The participants will not be responsible for any other additional direct or indirect expenses resulted from the present regulation or from any Western Union operation.
6. Miscellaneous
6.1. Participation to this Promotion requires approval of the present regulation.
6.2. Promotion's Regulation is published on www.transferdebani.ro and www.crediteurope.ro and is available at request, free of charge, in any Credit Europe Bank (Romania) S.A. branch participating in the Promotion.
6.3. The Organizer reserves the right to extend the Promotion through an additional document to the present Regulation and by making public through www.transferdebani.ro the extension period and the conditions related to it.
6.4. Once the prize is received, the winner states freely and without doubt that he/she does not have any claims of any nature towards the organizer.
6.5. All prizes not granted, regardless of the reason, are property of the Organizer which has the right to use them for future promotions.
6.6 In case the Promotion Organizer is prevented by force majeure events, the Organizer reserves the right to decide, according to the case, to cease or to extend the Promotion.
