Phishing attack against the clients of Credit Europe Bank (Romania) SA

Bucharest, March 17 2011

In the evening of March 16, 2011 Credit Europe Bank (Romania) SA was the target of a phishing attack in which the bank's customers were requested confidential data related to their cards.

As a result of this action Credit Europe Bank reminds their customers that they never request confidential data on the credit card number, PIN or card expiration date.
Please note that the persons who have received these emails are not only clients of Credit Europe Bank.
At this point, Credit Europe Bank has taken all steps to protect its customers' data.
