@vantaj – a new service offered by Credit Europe Bank for online shopping paid through installment system

Besides the advantage of paying in installments, online transactions ensure flexibility as transactions can be concluded at any moment, the products and services are immediately available without requiring your presence in the store. Moreover, the client receives 0.3% bonus from the total transaction value.

Transactions security is highly valued so all CardAvantaj partner shops available for on line transactions have incorporated the 3D Secure system (MasterCard SecureCode and Verified by Visa). This security measure enables the card holder to introduce card data and to authorize payment on a secured page thus eliminating any risk of having the personal or card data copied.

"We wished to introduce this new service for CardAvantaj clients as on line installment shopping is the best blend of security and flexibility. Emag, La Redoute or Debo are some of our partners in this project and together with them and other merchants we are confident we will increase significantly online shopping using CardAvantaj installment payment system" declared Mr. Ömer Tetik, First Vice President at Credit Europe Bank.

Also, starting from 1st of February 2010 Credit Europe Bank will modify part of the costs related to CardAvantaj credit card portfolio, including commissions for ATM withdrawals. This cost adjustment attempts to persuade customers to conclude commercial transactions which offer a large range of benefits: installment payment, grace period and so on.

"We have already started to inform our clients of these cost changes as we want to permanently inform them of any credit card modifications" Mr. Ömer Tetik stated.

Presently, CardAvantaj is credit card market leader with over 330.000 issued cards. Credit Europe Bank (Romania) S.A. network includes 98 branches and agencies, 198 ATMs and over 9.000 POS at merchant partners.
