The 11-th 'Euromoney Central and Eastern European Forum'

This event has gathered prestigious international financial institutions from all over the world interested in latest development within CEE countries. Politicians (prime ministers, ministers of finance and so on), central banks' governors, bankers, representatives of financial institutions and companies were among the participants.

The honor of representing Romania has been granted, this year, to Finansbank (Romania) S.A. and Banca Comerciala Romana, acting as official sponsors of the event.

With this occasion, our Bank hosted a round table on "Romanian Banking System on the Verge to European Union Accession" topic, having Mr. Radu Gratian Ghetea - President of Romanian Banking Association as special guest.

Finansbank (Romania) S.A's round table enjoyed a huge attention, the event was supposed to host only 20 people and the audience reached almost 40 people. Among the participants to our round table, there were representatives of both Romanian and foreign banks but also representatives of Romanian companies.

The two main features that are making this Forum so interesting: the facilitation of experience and information exchange between developed and developing countries and matching the business needs of the participants.
